Regardless of the tow package… I agree I was being undervalued. They used one that was 28k as their comparable one to say why 23k was a great trade value. I found out yesterday that one they were using as a comp was in a major accident that required towing. Also it had almost no options on it.
I think I’m going off dated information. We were always told that R/T towing was a no no and you couldn’t order a R/T w/ a hitch back then.
It’s possible that has changed and you seem to know it has.

Well the stores have a few challenges when taking in trades. It does cost them a few bucks just to buy the unit and have it undergo a safety inspection. They often rehab a few things too.
I don’t know the condition of your unit beyond clean, either.
The best way to come up w/ a used value is find something currently on the market and subtract 3-4k and figure that’s trade in.
Yeah I may pop in at yark to see if they will do a dealer trade for a vehicle I want, since they usually do well for trade values for me. Unless of course someone knows a place around NW Ohio/SE Mich that can do quality wraps for cheap lol. Black is not my preferred color, but Yark has one optioned almost perfect sans the color.
I think you will consider to confirm on this deal, https://dsrleasing.com/car-listings/2017-dodge-charger-rt-scat-pack-rwd-lease-389-mo/. You may direct contact also Anthony and discuss about this car lease detail.

No offense, but that is not a great deal, and that is a lot of money down. Not sure you even read my original post. Not only that, the rebates you have listed are incorrect for my area.
Terrible deal. There’s people atleast in Michigan getting them for low 300’s with $500-1000 out of pocket, there was even some getting them with no money down.
If I could somehow get cheaper insurance I would jump
Someone needs to ban his guy for his useless SPAM.
Man!! How are you guys getting such great lease offers… In So Cal, the best offer I have got for a 2018 challenger r/t scat pack is 2000 down 475/month. That is after calling about 10 brokers and dealers. If I can get something in the 350/month range, I would jump on that in a sec. Do any of you guys have any pointers or any feedback would be appreciated.
For starters, do you qualify for Employee or Friends and Family Pricing?
Secondly, you are talking about a brand new model year. They are just hitting the lots now. 2018 deals will be hard to come by.
And finally you need to understand what goes into the rates and what they mean for a lease. Educate yourself on Money Factor (MF), Residuals (for reference the Residual % at 10k annual miles is 64%, at 12k is 63%, for a 3yr lease on a Challenger Scat Pack) and the fees you are seeing. From there you need to figure out what the dealer is offering as the sale price. Once then you can determine if its a fair price or not.
For arguments sake I checked out a 2017, here is what I am seeing for them (via the dodge.com site):
I optioned out a Challenger Scat Pack similar to my current Charger Scat Pack:
8 Speed Auto, Dynamics Package, Leather Group, Driver Convenience, Navigation, Sunroof:
Total MSRP with destination: 47,570
Incentives: 4250 in my area
Final Vehicle Price: 43,320
Lease rate for this price, with $2k down, no negotiating: $478*
For me, however, I get EP pricing, which is about 9% below MSRP. Lets call it 4000 of the price for simplicity’s sake.
Lease rate for my EP price, with $2k down, no negotiating: $359*
Basically for every $1000 you can reduce the price of the vehicle, you are dropping the payment by $30, at the current rates.
Again, this only works for 2017s. Good luck on the 2018s, since there isn’t much info available to the consumer.
*The lease rates don’t include tax, title, license, and other fees
Thanks for your feedback. How do you go about getting EP? And did you get 359/month using dodges website ? I have been getting run around for 10 days now. I can’t seem to find the right deal. Or maybe I’m just not educated enough to know the verbiage of leases, but everyone’s hitting me with 450-560/month on a lease for the SP.
EP is employee pricing. If you aren’t an employee of FCA or directly related (Sibling, Parent, Spouse, Child) you don’t get it. And dealers are not owned by FCA, so you can’t get EP by being related to a salesperson.
Again, go back to my comment here, based on the Dodge.com website (yes, as I mentioned, I am using the site for the prices I listed): “Basically for every $1000 you can reduce the price of the vehicle, you are dropping the payment by $30, at the current rates.”
Basically, to get to that number, you need to be able to knock 3000-7000 off the sale price from the quotes you have mentioned.
You need to at least get from the dealerships the sale price they are using to get to these numbers, and whether these are “out the door” numbers, or you have to add tax, tag, title, doc, acquisition, and other fees to it.
Sounds like you need to do a lot more research before you can make an informed decision.
Thanks for explaining it to me. It makes a lot of sense now. Yes definitely not going to make a decision until I understand a little more. Unless I magically get the deal I want. Appreciate it
