2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Lease Deal Check?

After lurking here for a few weeks now and reading everything Dodge, I’d like to know how bad this deal is.

I checked both Edmunds, and Dodge’s calculator, and it looks like there’s a markup on the MF/APR from the .00005(.12@APR). Also, not sure if the “Total AFTMKT $1,751” is the Gas Guzzler Tax the Manuals have and whether the “$1,000 Rebate” is taxed since I’m in California. I would appreciate any feedback on whether this deal is bad/average/good. Thank you.

MSRP is 65XXX, payment is 745, Not even close to 1% rule. Looks like terrible discount and you’re paying money upfront as a down payment. Search the forum someone recently leased a HC for low 600 you should be able to do the same or better since I believe your car costs less.

Walk away and find another dealer. They should not be marking up the MF and you can get a much better discount.

Using Edmunds/Dodge numbers into the calculator, it gives me 600-650 after taxes. I’ve gotten 4 replies back, and all of them have tried to sneak an inflated MF/APR and Acquisition fee. From reading the forums during the old 2016 bonanza that happened this year between Jan-Apr, discounts were about 6-9%.

Yeah, I saw that markup. After emailing back asking telling them that I knew the September lease rates, they proposed I call their sales manager to “explain the lease.” What kind of discount do you think I should be aiming for? The highest I’ve been given is 9%.

Well I got $8k off mine before rebates.

Running this on dodges website with 0$ down has a better monthly…

You’re probably a master negotiator though lol. I throw “9% off MSRP” and that gets me around $6-$7k off sticker, which I’m guessing isn’t a lot. Did you have to go out of state?

Yeah, it’s cus they marked up the MF/APR. They ignored my emails after I called them out on it;I hate dealers. I got ripped off already on a 15 RT, base model ended up paying 50k after all the BS warranties that my dumbass said yes to at 5% APR. I even paid for the damn backup camera out of pocket.

Here is the forum post of the guy who got a hellcat last month in the $600 range. Goodluck!

Yeah, that’s the ‘I don’t want a loaner cus of the farts’ guy. Lol, yeah he got a good deal at 11% off, I’m having trouble getting 6% and don’t want to travel 1,000+ miles, or pay, to get it shipped. I’ll keep trying, appreciate the help.

Sometimes you have to either travel or accept a worse deal if you need to close on one asap otherwise only thing to do is wait it out… Where are you located? Have you considered using a broker? Might be worth it if your’e not in a rush and want someone else to do the legwork of finding a deal and negotiating for you.

Yeah, if I can’t get around $650 I’ll just wait and hope the winter deals come back. I’m in Long Beach now but reside in San Diego. I contacted Ben but he said he was backed up with clients and couldn’t help me out for now. I haven’t seen anyone offer their services like Ben with good feedback. Some of the leasing companies I’ve seen here talk people into $5k+ downs to get good payments.I saw CDJRElliot but he only has a green hellcat at his dealer.

I’ve been lurking here for a while, and I recognized your name. Not sure why you got offended, I actually said you got a great deal. Appreciate the well wishes, I’m going to need it since you don’t want to help a brother out… :stuck_out_tongue:

@Sssmoked @naviSRT Play nice boys this is a place to help people out no need to be petty over joking/stupid comments. If you have 2 dealers you should help the OP out as I’m sure you were helped out previously. Just my 2 cents =)
