Costco Auto is teasing that the holiday sale begins October 3. No details on manufacturer or gift card amounts. Any chance we see a deviation from GM this year?

No they usually offer an incentive (gift card) after you purchase or lease a vehicle using their program number.
For Volvos, Costco offers an incentive of 3k for leasing…
Not for “Volvos”, for S90 only. $750 for others.
Access to GM Supplier pricing but can easily do better. Also a Costco gift card for several hundred dollars depending on membership level. The Costco angle was what really sweetened the Cruze Limited deals many got two years ago.

I’ve just got the Costco membership Today… Not sure if I would be eligible for the Holiday Sale event… My Corolla lease is due by next March. If I get a great deal, I am planning to pull the trigger by year end…Otherwise, I will wait until March. Looking for a 3 row SUV now… This forum had been very helpful 2 years ago on my first Corolla lease. Mine was true zero down 165$ a month 24/12k…

The holiday sale is now live. Looks like the same as last year with a Costco cash card and GM supplier pricing on all brands. At a glance, it looks like it covers all models (including the Bolt and Volt).

Do I have to use Costco’s GM supplier pricing or can I negotiate on my own if I think I can get a better deal and still be eligible for the Costco gift card?
You can negotiate on your own. You just need to purchase/lease an eligible vehicle.
I can get employee pricing, can I double dip with Costco and get a card or do I have to use their pin number ?

I have their base membership but thinking about upgrading it to the executive level coz of the difference in the costco cash cards offered. But i wonder if I should have upgraded before Oct 2nd or is it just that you had to be a member by then? Anybody knows?
Per costco website, seems upgrade after Oct 2nd is allowed and eligible.

Can’t it used with GM Supplier program together? Probably no…
It says right there in the T&C that you can upgrade at any time, even over the phone (you could call them and do it while signing at the dealership if you wanted to). I saw people confirming last year that it worked.
