Move to NY chevysalesgirl The GM factory rebates are better, youâd make a killing!
This was my experience. Last night I called and asked if they could replicate the deal (same salesman) and was told yes and they had a few remaining. I qualified for all the same rebates. I explained that I only needed 10k and that I had to pay NJ tax. With this higher residual and less tax Iâd should put me in the $270âs. The OP is paying appx. $315.00 per month with nothing else out of pocket with a 7.6% discount before rebates. I was called back today and was quoted a 9.0% discount and same rebates would put me around $300.00 for a 24/10. I explained that with the bigger discount, higher residual and lower taxes I should be in the 250âs and asked for an explanation. The salesman told me that he would have to speak to ask his manager to become more familiar with the deal. And that was it, no response, cell phone went right to voicemail now. I guess they arenât as motivated as we thought to move these. I have 4 remaining payments on my 2016 Traverse that Chevy will cover and I would have bought the new one tonight.
My only thought is that their not âCoveringâ the remaing payments but factoring it into the new lease. BTW Honcker Traverse down to $219 24months 12k
GM Financial is completely paying the remaining 4 payments on my outgoing Traverse (pull ahead) up to $2,500.00 if you buy or lease a new GM Product.
why I can not see this price ?
I went into my local chevy with my sister because she was looking for the traverse with 7 passenger seating. I saw this deal on Wednesday night. I decided to see what they would hit me with because I wanted to see how aggressive they where at the end of the month. After âfindingâ the right car, I checked ahead of time to make sure they had them, the salesman came back with 379 a month for 24 months, with only 12,000 miles a year. I asked him how these numbers where calculated, he said the MSRP was 38,740, selling price was 36,067 because my sister was a teacher. He said the residual was 65%, with a MF of 2.06 with the 6000 incentives. We did roll taxes in, but even doing that, using the calculator I was coming up with 276 a month without taxes. Figuring that adding aq fee plus taxes adds about 50 more a month(ever 1000 is 25 dollars) I would be at 325. He goes back to the manger and comes back a minute later. I figure he was gonna hit us with like 350 or close to that. NOOOOO 'he proceeds to thank us for coming and but that itâs the end of the month and they are trying to sell cars and that we would not be able to come to an agreement. As a former car salesman I was so taken back by the fact that he basically said we arenât going to help you, get out. We of course left before he could finish his sentence. Sorry for the long rant but felt the need to share this âgreatâ experience. I plan to go with her to another dealership on Monday and see if They are willing to sell us a car.
