2017 Chevy Cruze Premier

Chevy has $2500 GM rebate and $1500 Conquest or Loyalty bonus - $4000 total incentives. Local Chevy dealer is offering $4000 discount on their Chevy Cruze Premiers. I’m eyeing a Premier with Confidence 2 package - MSRP $26,065

With $4k discount and $4k incentives, selling price will be $18,065. At 24/10 lease with GM Acquisition Fee waiver, MF will be 0.00118 and RV is at 64%. Lease calculator shows price before tax to be $99/mth with no down payment - just first month payment and doc/reg fees due at signing.

Edit: I’m a dreamer. No deal.

Yeah I get GM Employee Discount. I might consider this

Does GM allow MSD’s?

nope - they do not. (20)

Please post up your actual final deal with tax (what is tax rate in your county/state). This is a deal that I am looking to get into for a cheap commuter car.

Tax in Kentucky is 6% on the monthly lease payment. I’ll post final results. I’m targeting $106/month after tax.

The deal all depends on what sort of discount you can get on the car in addition to GM incentives. This one particular dealer near me is offering $4k discount on all Premier models on their lot

Edit: no they aren’t

Can you link the rebates?

found you on edmunds

Good luck w/ Ohio store for Kentucky lease. You have to register the vehicle w/ the county and IIRC send the title to them.

Thank you. Edmunds has been great for getting RV/MF details. I’m skeptical of the dealer that they will somehow mess up the numbers and try to tax incorrectly. I’m more familiar with Ohio taxes since that’s where I live, but this deal is for a friend in Kentucky so I’m not quite as familiar with some of the tax details - specifically with how the cash rebates are taxed.

In Ohio I think these incentives would be taxed at sales tax rate, but I thought I read that Kentucky doesn’t tax them…I can’t seem to verify it though.

Most states tax the rebates on a lease.

I also doubt there is $2500 in rebate on a Premier - it doesn’t make sense since the LT is the lease trim.

It’s also near impossible for them to mess the tax up - they have a tax rate of 7 and yours is 6. They can only charge you a max of 6%,

Here are some pics…couldn’t find direct link. The $2500 shows when you Price and Build on Chevy website. Dealer confirmed with me that all apply on the lease.

Cash back isn’t a lease rebate - it’s a retail.

Wyler is a good group though.

I’ve had multiple confirmations from several dealers that the $2500 DOES apply to leasing. I’ll post the deal on Sunday assuming all goes as planned

Edit: dealers just lie to get you in the door

I hope it does …(20)

Having called that exact store - you are correct.

$2500 in lease cash on the premier.

Edit: Looks like it’s only $1200

So does that mean that $99 a month is legit?

Called and asked - waiting for response.
