2017 BMW x4 m40i Lease question

This is an exec demo in SoCal
Approx 15k miles.

MF is .00151.
With $2500 down on a 3 year lease payments are $620 including taxes

Another car is $56k with around 7000 miles on it.
$3000.00 total drive off
$599.99 including tax 36/10k miles

Thanks all for any help!
Rob

  1. What’s the original MSRP?
  2. I was under impression that BMW won’t lease used cars with more than 10k.
  3. Ask for a deeper discount. You should be able to get 20% discount for a used BMW.

Search this forum, recently someone leased similar X4 for cheaper.

Thanks for the reply Alex.
These are exec demos so are both already discounted in a sense.

Price on the car is $49995 for Deal 1.

Deal 2 : 56,791 is the msrp. This one is a another exec demo but has had body work done by BMW.

They are willing to do leases on these because they are specifically exec demos.

New pricing on this vehicle is 65k+

Try another dealer, there are plenty of those BMW x4 M40i in LA. Search USED cars, not demos.

Here is an example:

Your payment should be around ~570-600 max with 2k down for a car ~65k MSRP and 5-10k miles on it.

I don’t think leasing a car with 15k miles is a good idea.

Best,

Thanks, Alex. Searching now and reading your previous thread.

Is the ~65k msrp that you specify is for new vehicles?
I see prices for these other vehicles around 51-52k.

I’ll keep digging. Unfortunately for deal hunting, I want black on black, which limits my options.

BMW demos with over 10k miles have an dollar-based RV instead of percentage, which most likely will make the leasing numbers worse than a new vehicle. Even demos with mileage between 5000-9999 miles don’t lease well anymore because they take a 4% plus mileage hit for the RV.

I secured a demo model of one of these black on black last month at $598 after tax + $2k down payment with 10k miles per year. Was tough to find the car but worth the search. Be patient and persistent and use other offers as leverage to get the deal you want.

How do you like the car? I’ve always wanted one. However, I can’t seem to find one that I like in the tristate. I really want a demo, but have given up that pipe dream. (the only one that i’d want is in texas with a sticker of 70k)

I love the car, its exactly what I wanted in a split between comfort as an SUV and sportiness.

Mine had a 70k sticker, I got almost 15k in discounts to make the payments possible. Just gotta be really persistent. This was my first lease too so it was extra difficult.
