I have stopped sending the dealer new leads. He can’t handle the amount of traffic from this site and told me to stop sending more people.

so what you’re saying is the dealer does not want more sales…
Probably true - these sales are volume movers, not profit winners. A dealer can only take so many of these before they have to say no.
do dealers know the next month incentives now (and pretend they don’t), or do they truly not know until 1st of month?
they truly do not know until BMW releases them at the start of the next month.
They may not know the exact parameters, but they do know the outlines. For example, that 2017s will be leaseable next month and that 2018s will have increasing support, but exact residuals, incentives, and money factor(s) are not known.
You need inventory to sell. All 17s are gone.
Plus people from here know everything so it’s hard for him to upsell or cross sell.

If I submit credit app & place (refundable) deposit tonight, but don’t finalize things until tomorrow…will I still have the January promotions/incentives locked in? Dealer saying yes, but just want to confirm
In BMW Land, the month does not really end on the last day of the calendar month. I believe they have at least until the 3rd or 4th day of the following month to still take advantage of the prior month’s incentives.
As long as you have a credit app completed, your locked.
Depends on the month, and this month it ends on the 31st unless you have a credit app in.

THANK YOU @HN308 !!! His advice to look for dealers elsewhere proved right, i expanded my search to dealers within 200miles of my location and ended up finding a few new and loaner vehicles.

Residual 63% (miles adjustment should have dropped to 62.2%)
Brutal day negotiating with several dealers, ultimately my one pay for $2,347 (~.20%) was better by going with a loaner. The MSRP off was just over 19% and i only used the EV fed credit and lease cash (compared with brand new stock the msrp discount was lower at ~13% although i could use build out cash and fleet)
Thank you again to this site and all those who contribute, from what i have read a few of us were able to replicate this deal (do we have an accurate count?), someone give @HN308 a medal!
