2017 BMW i3 REX inventory at almost 13% off MSRP - NJ/NY/CT

Update # 3@ 5:40 PM. The demand and supply dynamics have kicked in, basically leasehackr effect. The dealer won’t give the sales price of 44k any more but will use the fleet and buildout cash to reach there. So the 13k in rebates becomes 11.5k.

Update # 2 @ 1:29 PM on 01/30: I have one of the dealers in CT whom I worked with for my deal get back to me today. He is offering an i3 with $54345 for $48000 plus if you qualify for all rebates of 13K like I do the selling price goes to 35K.

This will work best for anyone in NJ with the tax advantage. Also CT has a 2K rebate from state which is POS rebate so the sales price will go down by further 2K making it comparable to NJ even though you pay the taxes.

There however is a $595 doc fee which they charge but its up to you to negotiate it out. BTW I have never known a dealer who would loose a sale just for the doc fees.

Let me know if you are ready to do this deal over phone and drop a CC deposit to pick this up today or tomorrow as the incentives end on 01/31 unless BMW extends it.

I will not send more than 5 people to him so its 1st come 1st serve as he only has 1 car to sell**

Due to overwhelming response to this thread and at the request of the dealer I will not be sharing the contact details of the dealer anymore. He has 35 odd leads from here and cannot handle them any more. If things change I will update this post

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2017 BMW i3 REX
MSRP: $50,495
Selling Price: $44,000
Rebates: $13,000 (iCredit, lease cash, build out cash, fleet, BMW loyalty)

Months: 24
Annual Mileage: 12,000

MF: 0.00152 + 0.0005 (to waive of Acquisition fee) - 0.0003 Discount for one pay lease
Residual: [63%]

Total Due At Signing: DMV+Doc and Misc+ One pay amount
Downpayment: [0]
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): 0

Leasehackr Score: 50+ depending on your sticker price and incentives

As most of you know that I got an i3 last Saturday and did a one pay on a car with Sticker price of $49,995 and paid $1303 + DMV and fees. I had worked with pretty much every dealer in the area who had stock and one of them had reached out to way too late on Sat as I was already on my way to the dealer where I bought the car from.

He is willing to match what he offered me which is as per above to anyone who works a deal out before 01/31.

Let me know if you are in Tri-state area and need his contact info.

Remember this deal works best in NJ as there is no sales tax on electric cars but no slouch in CT/NY either of them has State specific rebates but you might have to take 36 month lease to get the rebates and that might change some numbers.

Can I lease thru my business?

Hi HN,

I’m in the tri state area and would like the contact info for the dealer you worked with. Let me know if I should reference your post when speaking with him/her.

Thank you!

I am in NJ and very interested in this. Please let me his contact info. Thank you so much!

HN308, thanks for the referral, I reached out to the dealership, crossing fingers I can sign this by tomorrow.
This site is amazing!
ty!

The response to this post has been amazing. I have shared contact info of the dealer with at least 20 people and he doesn’t have that much inventory.

Some people will miss out if they don’t act soon or ask questions to dealers which make no sense.

Pleas learn and understand how the deal works. You have all the numbers given above. Just your rebates might be different than mine so use the calculator on this site and calculate your payment to get monthly number. Multiply that by by 24 or 36 depending on your term to get the one pay amount. Add DMV + 97.5 doc and regulatory fees and you have your final numbers.

I have replied all PMs. If any has been missed please PM me again.

Can you provide me with the dealer information?

Very generous of you to share the fruits of your labor! If anyone gets one, he/she will hopefully make a donation to Leasehackr

Can anybody replicate this in SoCal? Maybe @BMW_Dave ?

No big deal in me sharing the deal.

I just waited till I got my car and than put it up.

Last time I put a C300 loaner deal and sent all leads from here before my deal got done as it was Jan 1st and a holiday. After getting so many leads through me the dealer won’t give me a good enough deal so I moved on with a lesson learned.

Good I didn’t get that C300 for close to 225 as I got the i3 for 1/4 of that payment and a brand new car compared to a loaner with 6-7k

Is the 2k lease cash regional? I don’t see it published and my dealer knows nothing about it. Also, is there more information about the build out cash? Thanks.

I will tell you a very simple way to confirm incentives if they are not published for your area.

Make calls to 3-5 different dealers local to you and tell them the incentives you are looking to get on a particular car after discount of MSRP. If all of them come back with a no for that particular incentive you have your answer. When you talk confidently about the numbers they know not to lie through their teeth and will give you correct info. All you need is 1 of them to give you conflicting info and you know the others are lying.

The luxury brand dealers are a tad better and lie little less than mass market brands as they care for their reputation and that of dealership.

I’m completely new to this and not sure if I’m reading this right, does this mean you’re leasing a new bmw i3 for ~55$ a month, and just prepaying all the payments at once? If so, i am definitely interested and will pick one up tomorrow if thats the case.

Nice work HN, if the site owners were still active I would be petitioning to get you that trusted hackr badge, you’re crushing it.

Amazing! Amazing, amazing!

I am in SoCal. Can I get it shipped. I don’t even want to see the car. Just ship it.

I’m in NorCal…same thing. I want a 2017 REX. With the Parking Assistant & Tech. Just ship it. And do a pull ahead on my 2015 i3.

Ok give me two. At this price I need two and need have 30 months lease at minimum for $2500 credit.
Please ship the car take the money and see you in 30 months or more .

This is a local deal only. The dealer barely makes anything if any on these at this price and no way is going through the hassle of shipping the car cross country and doing paperwork over mail.

Also the incentives are regional so you have to check locally. If there are no 17s left in your area look for one in 200 mile radius.
