I am looking at a 2017 BMW 330i xDrive Certified Pre-Owned with 4,600 miles. The dealership is telling me that you can’t lease a BMW CPO vehicle as per BMW. This is wrong, isn’t it?

It might have been a trade in from a private sale. You can only lease BMW’s that have been loaners or executive demo cars.

The carfax is usually a good indicator as to whether it was a demo/loaner, or a private sale.

EDIT derp, didn’t notice the 2017 thing.

You haven’t been able to lease a 2017 since March. Any brand with a 2017 year at this point is out.

So it isn’t the fact that it is CPO (I have confirmed it was a loaner, not private sale), it is that it is a 2017 that would be an issue, correct?

Thanks for the help! Does anyone happen to know if there are any lease incentives on 2018 330i’s this month? Located in Eastern Indiana, but could easily shop in western Ohio.
