2017 Audi Q3 Premium Plus Lease ( Have never leased before)

Hello! Have never leased before (spent time digging on the site to learn more). Got a prelim offer from Audi, I haven’t done much negotiating yet, but the deal seems pretty bad.

Audi Q3 Premium Plus

Retail price: $41.2k
Net Selling Price: $37.6k (after $500 rebate)

Fees / Taxes: $2,570

Monthly payment w/ $1500 down: $533.

Zip 19034. 36 mo / 12k miles.

I don’t know what the cap costs / MF are, trying to get those from the dealership. Any help figuring out what I should be paying would be greatly appreciated. I’ve negotiated for purchasing a couple Audi’s, but never a lease. Thank you so much!

Audi doesn’t lease as well compared to other brands

You’re right the lease isn’t great.

Search edmunds for rv/MF

Found that out today from the stealership!
MF: 0.00212 Res %: 61 Res $: 25.1k Cap Cost: 37.9k

What do you think I should be targeting as a monthly? Thank you for the help!

that MF is high…i thought audis had low MFs…

why do people say audis dont lease well? they seem to have low MF and decent Res?

I am interested in leasing an A3 cab in june…

that mf is a lie from the dealership guaranteed.

Yeah, I found out the base MF is .00161, which is much different. What i’m confused about is the Cap costs affect on the Monthly payment.

Cap Cost - Residual = the amount you’re paying for the car for the life of the lease. That’s why you’re negotiating the cap cost as low as possible through a reduction in price of the car. The only way to make the cap cost even lower afterwards is to put in a down payment, which most people in these forums will tell you to avoid.

This amount is before fees such as tax, interest from the MF, etc is added in.

Ah, I see thank you! I told them today knowing the MF is marked up and the the price of the car, I want to target a $400/month price w/ little money down. Will see what they say.
