2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum 11.4 years lease hacking score?

Hello,

Does anyone have the residual value and money factor for this car?

also how much does doing each MSD reduce the MF?

Thanks!

2016 Nissan Maxima SR and Platinum, Northern California

36/12K: 55% residual, .00003 MF
All: $1,300 lease cash
Targeted: $750 Grad/Military

Nissan does not have a MSD program. That said, the base rate is practically zero.

Thank you Michael! The lease isnt to bad but am going to wait for memorial day for hopefully better incentives/sales

Still the same money factor and residual value for this month?

I see $2000 cash back offer on Nissan’s website and $1375 leasing bonus cash on edmunds… are these stackable? Any other incentives besides the college/military one.

Using the lease calculator, I am getting $1105 drive off and $365 a month on a Platinum model with MSRP of $46,550 and sale price of $40,550. 36/12k

11.4 years hacking score.

Are my assumptions correct?

Thanks in advance

Nissan upped the lease cash by a whopping $75 this month. Residual dropped by 1% though. MF is the same.

2016 Nissan Maxima SR and Platinum, Northern California

36/12K: 54% residual, .00003 MF
All: $1,375 lease cash
Targeted: $750 Grad/Military

The $2,000 cash back is for purchases only.

I apologize in advance, I’m new to the lease calculation thing. I’m looking at a local offer in PA for a 2016 Maxima S 36/12k.

MSRP $34040
Sale Price $28490
Down payment: $1995
Monthly payment: $229

Is this a good deal? I plugged in 54% residual, 0.00003 MF and it comes out to 9.5 years. To be honest, I don’t really know what numbers I should be looking at.

Thanks in advance

The Leasehackr score represents how long it would take for the accumulated average monthly payment to exceed the MSRP. 9.5 years is a quite awesome score for a sedan, unless you want to keep the car for more than 10 years. You can reference others’ score here:

I personally wouldn’t put anything down. I think you can get an even better deal with some negotiation on the selling price. Good luck!

Hi @michael Michael,

How are the number in FL for the Maxima S. Can you share those? Am I being realistic to aim to get that car for 300 or less?

2016 Maxima S, Florida

36/12K: 54% residual, .00003 MF
All: $1,375 lease cash
Targeted: $750 Grad/Military

Hello,

Looking to lease 2017 Maxima SR. What should I be aware of. Dealer quoting .00003MF 36mo/53% backend. $0 down. $537

Help

Thanks!!!

That price is extremely high for the vehicle you’re getting. Maxima tends to not lease well because of high MSRP and a low residual. Things to consider: an Infinti Q50 should be under $400/month. An Infiniti QX60 should be under $500/month. A Lexus ES350 should be under $500/month.

At that high of a payment, you have some very interesting other options. If you are set on Maxima, consider the 3.5 S, which could be near $300/month. The SR MSRP is so much higher that it hurts the lease payment.

Thanks for your input!!!

I forgot to ask. Can I negotiate the price of the car prior to setting lease terms/payments etc? I want to get out of my current car which I have -$3000 equity. Trying to find ways to deal

Thanks in advance!!

Come on. $537? You’re in E-Class and 5-Series territory at that kind of payment.

It’s unfortunate you get bullshit dealers out there who prey on the collective ignorance of most consumers.

I can tell from your other messages that you need to educate yourself on the way this game works, then when you step to dealers they won’t give you numbers without the expectation of getting smacked in the face with your driving gloves on your way out of the dealership.

You’ll definitely learn a lot from reading as much as you can from the blog and posts on the board.
