I am looking at transferring my lease on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC. Original MSRP: $52,785.

Length: 5 Months
Downpayment: $0
Monthly Payment: $499 + tax
Miles: 2,800/month

Lease Protection included as well.

I will pay transfer fee of $595.

So, you want someone to pay the transfer fees and in 5 month be responsible for disposition fees? That adds more than $200 per month to the monthly payment.

MBFS usually doesn’t allow transfers in the first and last 6 months. Have you called MBFS to see if they will allow you an exemption?

You can’t transfer in the last 6 months.

I have 6 months left as of today. Make payment today that will leave me with 5-months remaining. The link is still showing in my account to initiate the transfer process.

Looking for other ideas as well. I am moving to Texas and can’t take the vehicle with me. I have looked at doing Mercedes Pull Ahead and trading and that is not an option. Would be cheaper to keep until the end of the lease.

  1. Sell it and pay the difference owed to MBFS (if applicable)
  2. Trade it
  3. Swap it (if still permitted)
  4. Keep it till the end

Those are all of your options. You’ve ruled out #2, so you have 3 options remaining
