2016 Ford Escape SE numbers

Good evening hackers, may I please have the incentives, residual and other goodies for…

2016 Ford Escape SE FWD
Terms of 24/10 and 36/10 for comparison if it’s not too much hassle.
Gilbert, AZ 85297

My calculations yielded $3450 - $3950 of bonus cash, more bonus cash, smart bonus, and labor day bonus. And another $2000 of lease bonus cash and conquest cash.

X-Plan pricing on MSRP of $26k ended up being $20,846 with the online sales rep after discounts but the sales manager wasn’t having any of it when I show up.

Thanks!

So I can comment on why that didn’t work out for you, X-Plan wise.

X-Plan pricing is intended to be no-hassle/no-negotiation pricing, so basically any ‘dealer discount’ that you’d get outside of X-Plan will not apply to X-Plan pricing. I’ve tried to negotiate otherwise with a bunch of dealers in the past few months, and it was a no-go.

However, if you’re looking at a 2016 Escape SE and Smart Tag bonus, you should be able to get a pretty deep price discount with the Bonus Cash, Smart Tag, Conquest and such. Wife and I decided against the 2016 model due to a poor front-overlap crash rating from IIHS, but honestly I’d probably recommend looking at the 2016 Titanium since it’s decked out. Dealers were selling them for 24-25K with incentives in my area (Seattle, WA), so you’re likely to get a good deal.

Another option, if you didn’t know this already, is that you qualify for S-Plan pricing with Mazda due to being eligible for X-Plan (it’s a grandfathered deal from Ford owning part of Mazda at some point or another). Therefore you could get some pretty sweet deals on a 2016.5 CX-5 (.5 puts more features in the Sport and I think Touring?).
The CX-5 might have a higher residual as well, and they’re already running 0-down deals.

What is x plan. Are there really good deals on the escape now? My mom wants a compact suv (like crv) and am trying to think of a good one for her. Looking for higher end models (moonroof, power lift gate, leather)

Have you looked at the Buick Encore? GM was pushing that pretty hard a few months ago.
