I am looking to lease a 2016 Dodge Challenger and I need some help calculating the payments. Here are the details from the dealer:
MSRP: $35,370
Sale Price: $30,370
Rebates: $4,000
Cap Cost: $26,370
Residual: 52%
MF: .0013
Down Payment: $0
Miles:15k
Years: 3 yrs.
$369/month inc. Tax
However, when I plug the info on the lease calculator I get a lease payment of $324 with tax. Can someone explain how the dealer got $369 vs the lease calculator at $324? Am I missing more information?
When I asked how he got $369/month he just simply responded with:
“The payment was calculated based on a 36 month lease, 15K miles per year, and $0 out of pocket. After incentives, the net price on the Challenger is $25,494. When would you like to come in and check it out?”
I had to email him again asking for the MF and RV.
@GOMD is right. The differences can be the taxes in the $4k incentives and the drive-off amount. What state are you in? If not in CA, your doc fee is probably a couple hundred more than $80. If all that comes out to $1500, then the dealers calculated numbers look right
