2016 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus Lease Payment Question

Hello Everyone!

I am looking to lease a 2016 Dodge Challenger and I need some help calculating the payments. Here are the details from the dealer:

MSRP: $35,370
Sale Price: $30,370
Rebates: $4,000
Cap Cost: $26,370
Residual: 52%
MF: .0013
Down Payment: $0
Miles:15k
Years: 3 yrs.

$369/month inc. Tax

However, when I plug the info on the lease calculator I get a lease payment of $324 with tax. Can someone explain how the dealer got $369 vs the lease calculator at $324? Am I missing more information?

Thank you

Are you sure your MF and RV values are correct? Show us a screenshot of your calculations.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the response. The MF and RV was what the dealer gave me.

When I asked how he got $369/month he just simply responded with:

“The payment was calculated based on a 36 month lease, 15K miles per year, and $0 out of pocket. After incentives, the net price on the Challenger is $25,494. When would you like to come in and check it out?”

I had to email him again asking for the MF and RV.

Thank you

If any of your $4000 worth of incentives is taxable, that would effect your monthly payment.

Not to mention he could be claiming a true 0 down price with all of the calculators drive offs rolled into the price.

@GOMD is right. The differences can be the taxes in the $4k incentives and the drive-off amount. What state are you in? If not in CA, your doc fee is probably a couple hundred more than $80. If all that comes out to $1500, then the dealers calculated numbers look right

Hello GOMD,

I’ll clarify with the dealer to see if that’s what is.

Thanks for your help!

I do live in CA. I will ask the dealer if those are the reasons for the lease payment of $369 and will update here.

Thank you!

Hi GOMD,

You were correct. All the fees are rolled in.

Thank you

Hi Jon,

The dealer clarified that the out of pocket fees are all rolled in.

Thank you for your help!
