2016 ATSV Coupe Lease End in 30 Days - Way Way Under Extra Miles Purchased

Howdy guys,

First time poster & first time returning a lease.

My 36 Month lease on my 2016 ATS-V Coupe ends in 30 Days; I know I’m late doing this but now its urgent- I decide what to do…

keep the car or get new lease?

Here are my lease details:
2016 ATS-V Coupe MSRP $90K
$2K Down/ 36 Month / 0% APR GM Financial
Purchased extra miles to 20K/yr

$610 payments (total w/tax)
$32K residual value

I have less than 30K miles on it & there’s no way I’ll drive 30K miles in 1 month

What happens to all that extra $$ I paid for the extra miles when I return the car?

I used the 2016 GM Financial Marketing Dealer Handbook (that I found on this site) Lease Worksheet to workout my numbers and walked into the dealership with my laptop & excel in hand :]

Looking for the July 2019 Marketing Dealer Handbook in hope of finding the Lease Return worksheet and repeat the process.

Anyone know where I can find the worksheet or what I can expect to happen to the $$ for the unused miles I paid for?

Sell it, why let the dealer or Caddy benefit?

Pretty sure GM/Cadillac doesn’t give any credits for unused miles.

Correct.

I’m pretty sure this car is worth way more than $32k. What is it’s current value?

it might be closer than you think. you can get CPO 2016 ATS-V’s for 35-40k (will have more miles though)

and once you factor in tax and stuff you are probably at $35k

still see what vroom or carvana will give you though

seriously, ugh not nice

If you sell it to a dealer such as carmax or vroom there is not tax paid by seller.

Op get some quotes online and get back to us. You could also drive it to a cadi dealership and see if they want to buy it.
