Hey guys, first time poster. Looking for feedback on a quote I have received on a 2015 428Xi Gran Coupe. It is a 36 month, 12k per year lease.
Thoughts?
MSRP: 54550
Sell Price: 46814
Cap Cost: 49305 (this includes taxes at 5%, Acquisition cost, registration and doc fee of $129)
RV: 58% ($31,639)
MF: 0.00132 (haven’t decided on doing MSDs tho it seems the way to go)
$596/month w/ only first month payment due at signing.
They are a ‘final price’ dealer so unwilling to drop price any further even though it’s been on their lot for a LONG time (manufacture date was 1/29/15). I don’t think I like ‘final price’ dealers…
Deal seems good to me, no markup in MF. Make sure they don’t mark up any of the acquisition fee.
I’ve seen MY2015 3-series (335) as low as ~$10k off MSRP, but that was rare. 4-series might be a little less discounted due to the engine refresh not coming to the 4-series in MY2016. However, that’s for the top-end model, not the 3/428i variants.
14% off MSRP here seems like a solid deal.
You might want to double check MY2016 numbers. I believe the residual is a little higher, but I doubt it’s enough to make up for the substantial discount here on a MY2015. Also worth noting, the 2016 models are more expensive at base price due to more options being standard (mostly from the Sport Line of 2015).
Thanks for your response. I ended up taking the deal yesterday. After doing 6 MSDs (and paying title fees up front) I ended up getting the lease down to $549 a month…Then I think when they ran the final numbers on the agreement they made a $950 mistake (in my favor) on the purchase price of the vehicle that brought the payment number down to $522 …which seems pretty good for a 55k vehicle and 12k miles per year.
