2015 BMW 335i M Sport- Considering getting out of my Lease

Considering getting out of my lease for a bigger vehicle and want to get a feeler. The car is absolutely amazing and fun to drive. The vehicle is in excellent condition and services have been up to date(they are free, why wouldn’t they be)

I have about 9 months left on my lease- its ends on 9/23/2018. I currently have about 32,500 miles on the vehicle. The total allowed miles is 45,825. (~14,800 miles/month). Residual is $36,364.20. I put down max msd’s (7@$400=$2800). Current Payment:$391.24

I am located in Northern New Jersey. If you interested, I am looking for $3500 up front($2800 would be refunded at end of lease) and $500 for the transfer fee.

Vehicle Details:
2015 BMW 335i M Sport RWD
MSRP: 59,720
Exterior:Melbourne Red
Interior: Black
6 Speed Transmission
Cold weather, Driver Assistance & Plus, M Sport & package, Premium, Technology, Harman surround sound, plus more.
See picture with the build details.

So you are looking to make money on the transfer?
Your $700 + $350 disposition and you are already over $500 a month. Not to mention the possibility of new tires and the maintenance not conveying. I mean if someone wants your exact build for 9 months I guess it’s ok but most here could probably equal the payment and get the car they want. And don’t get me wrong I love a six speed but 99% of drivers don’t. Throw it up on cl or swap a lease (or just keep it), I’m guessing you will get more traction there.

Not make money-- but recoup a portion of my up front fees.

Tires have over 85%. I think its a good deal for someone looking for a short term lease on a fun, loaded car with plenty of miles left. Seems like you think 500 is a lot for this car- from my research on swap, lease trader, bimmerpost, etc, this is inline with other vehicles in this MSRP range, if not less. Like anything in America, its negotiable.

As I mentioned in my title, Im considering getting out so I’ll leave it up here for some time. I am in no rush or a position to unload immediately.

Ok good luck, keep in mind transfer must be complete with 6 months left on the lease.

I agree. You actually forgot the transfer fee too, so it’s more like $172/month extra on top of the $391/monthly. No sane person would pay this, plus have to worry about inspection damages at turn-in.

Duh, I was so focused on the extra $700 he was asking for I forgot about that.

let’s not forget free maintenance doesn’t transfer so whoever takes it over is subject to maintenance costs. I would ask the current owner to have whatever maintenance is coming up done while still in his possession before considering taking over this lease.

Trying to recoup some of the upfront frees this late in the lease is a little bit unrealistic because of the transfer fee and dispo fee involved.

If the tires are going to last through the lease end and you have a chance to inspect this car personally and run a carfax, I think the car is otherwise a good deal for someone looking for a short term lease with enough miles on a fun car. You can prob squeeze a few extra months out of BMW so the 9 mo lease could potentially be like an 11 mo lease if you know how to ask BMW FS nicely.

The uphill battle is trying to find someone willing to give you the MSDs back and someone who wants a stick.

I personally would keep this car. You won’t get another 535 anywhere near that payment for a long time.

You will have your best shot at finding someone quickly on SAL or LT, nobody in their right mind on this forum is going to help you recoup some of your upfront fees. Good luck.

This is for a 335, not 535.

oh :poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:…lol…MA BAD!

yea forget what i wrote…all of it !

Yes I pointed out the maintenance not transferring as well. This guy just joined two days ago, I’m guessing we’ll never hear from him again.

Take it like I have a job and my response to your question is not priority.

And to your question, No.

Another douche response by a BMW owner…
