19 Equinox offer - looking for feedback

Hello all,

I am considering lease a 19 equinox LS. I’m only looking for a 24/10k term. I got this from a dealership

MSRP 27095

Sales price of 20559

24/10 term

Money factor 0.00040

66% residual

The paper quote doesn’t match the monthly payment even considering the dealer fee is 899. I already emailed them back to review the numbers. The calculator show 212 + tax at 0 drive off based on his sales price, is that good quote? Realistically, could squeeze some more off. I need them to do something with my last Nissan payment and money for dispo too which I have not told them yet, but it will only add up $700

i believe 36/10 come out better this month, mf is .00051 rv 60%.
when u talk about nissan are you saying you want to trade it in? do you have equity?

With that residual there’s no way those numbers look right.

Why are you guessing at his rebate? And who the hell is getting 17% off on a GM? That’s BS and horrible advice.

OP, need breakdown between rebates and selling price discount. Also need all dealer fees etc, ask them what else is being put into the cap cost. And why turn in your Nissan a month early? Nothing special going on this month…

like i said its a guess, b/c his mf and rv are the same on my region and $750 is what i have here too, as off 17% is base on reverse calculator on a couple quote on equinox and terrain.

Lease hacking requires knowing and fully understanding the numbers, not guessing and making assumptions. If you don’t have anything helpful to add, please don’t mislead inexperienced members. 17% off is totally unrealistic.

MF and RV are national for GM. Rebates are regional. I highly doubt that you only have $750 on an Equinox. Please share the actual lease breakdowns with us so that we can all learn.

there i edited it out, the only reason i said that b/c otherwise it just copypaste of “you need to get selling price” just trying to have a conversation, dont need to be rude.
$750 come from edmund

OP would get competitive lease incentive as well. That’s generally $1500. Edmunds is sometimes off for GM in my experience

Autobytel shows $1650 CCR and $1500 comp for my zip on an LS FWD. didn’t dig into other trims.

I have never heard of an Equinox having only $500 CCR.

Hello all,

Thanks for the advice. Im not necessarily an inexperienced shopper. I’m sorry I may have left out a couple of details on previous ppat bc I was actually trying to put my todler to bed at the same time.

I actually already had the info from edmunds prior to the quote they sent me, and I have alreadh asked for the lease worksheet, but I have not been provided one yet. Here are the number for my region.
24/10k
.00040 mf and 66% rv
$500 lease cash
$250 customer incentive

Also I said 899 for dealer fee bc that’s standard here in south Florida, but I havent gotten a direct answer from the dealership yet since I only responded back at 730 via email.

Regarding my current Nissan, I can definatly wait the extra month if I needed it, but I currently lease a 35k maxima at an effective monthly payment of 315 inc tax with 0 due at signing. I was only considering the equinox if there is a tremendous difference in price to maximize savings over the next 24 months. Hope those extra details help a bit more, I will update once I get more info from dealership. Thanks again for your feedback!!!

Edit: while I have been successful on my previous leases, this is my first time leasing a GM vehicle.
