17 Nissan Maxima SL
MSRP $38,575
Selling price of the car $31,002.50 *price they gave me after rebate noted below under incentives
Gross cap cost of the car (this is the selling price + all bullshit fees taxes etc) Is this number correct?
$31,677.50 (I used $31,002.50 + $595 Nissan acquisition fee + $80 doc fee, as pre-populated on your online calculator in my calculation)
Incentives $7572.50 total *Note: I asked for breakdown, did not get clear answer: “$5375 bonus; $500 captive cash…” That leaves another $1697.50…They only gave me this verbally. They would not give me anything in writing, which made me very uncomfortable. Also under pressure - this was yesterday, Saturday, and this deal is “only good through today - Sunday”…
Money Factor (MF) .00003
Residual (in %) 45%
Term of your lease (months) 36 mos.
Mileage allotment 15K
Monthly payment incl. tax (MA 6.25%) = $441
When I plugged all the above in to your online calculator, it comes out to $449/mo, but this just seems high, compared to other deals I’m seeing posted…thanks!!
the additional 1697 appears to be a measly discount from msrp. can you generate and post the link to your calculator inputs? would help the evaluation but so far this does not look very appealing…
there is a boston only broker on here; perhaps he can assist you
if the lease cash and the captive cash are as specified, there is not enough discount from msrp to make this a good deal. check out the infiniti q50 thread for better pricing than this. or ask for another 2000 off your 31k price
don’t let them pull the “this deal is only good til Sunday BS”
What Tonyg said, go check out the Q50 thread. Better deals and an overall better car.
The Maxima deals don’t seem to be as good lately. A relative of mine had been looking at getting a Maxima, but is now focused on getting a Q50 since the LUX trim is actually going less than the SR/Platinum Maximas. AWD + 3.0T > FWD + CVT
