10 payments left on an Altima

I’m trying to get a new lease right now would any company or dealership near NY “eat those payments if I️ sign with them” I’m trying to get a jaguar xe but the quote I’m getting is 420+ 3000 sign on fees

If they tell you they’re eating the payments they’re probably just adding them into your purchase price. Unless there is support from a manufacturer level, dealers cannot make your outgoing lease payment just go away. Even at that point, 10 months out is a fairly long time. See this thread: Lease Pull Ahead Programs.

Without manufacturer support, they end up getting factored into your deal one way or another.

This is what they should be without your altima.

5000 miles/year.:star_struck:

Yeah, but its a prestige and the first one is 10k

This is a bit of an old thread, so I don’t know if it still applies, but this salesman gives some info pertaining to Nissan leases. One thing in particular he mentions is below regarding the possibility of getting out of your Nissan lease now with no penalty (outside of the disposition fee since you’re not going into another Nissan). It’s worth a shot to call NMAC and see…

Early Terminations: After you make your 16th payment on a lease, you are eligible for whats called an “early term”. Meaning that you (or better for everyone, your salesperson) calls Nissan for a quote on how much it will cost to terminate your lease at the present time. Anywhere from 16 months until the end of your lease. This quote can be anything from the total amount owed to absolute zero. My record is 22 payments remaining completely waived, along with the disposition fee. It came out to $6500 worth of remaining rent just vaporized. The kicker here is, you do not have to go back into a new Nissan, you can simply give the car back. If you go into a new Nissan, they waive the $400 disposition fee. If you don’t, you pay them the 400, plus any overmileage or wear and tear, the early term quote, and thats it. The quote doesn’t always work out, and its definitely not always 0, sometimes halfway between the amount owed and 0. Sometimes no dice at all. But always worth a try if you want to get out of the car for any reason. Usually, to get a new car. Especially useful if you see yourself going over the allotted miles early.
