1 Year Lease Options

,

Am looking for suggestions. Need a car I’ll be using only part time (2-3 days a week) for a year as I’ll be commuting back and forth from home (FL) to work in Virginia (by plane). Not sure how accessible EV charging would be. But definitely would be using the car less than 10k miles a year.

What do you all suggest?

Looks like the 2024 Mercedes GLC300 has an attractive 13 month lease program this month. Worth exploring if there’s a MB broker that serves VA.

Also take over someone else’s lease that has 12 months left on it.

Plenty on swaplease

For real, @brianmiami missed out on @djrabbi’s M4 Comp Convert xDrive lease transfer in NC. I feel like that’s the perfect car to commute by car instead of by plane.

I assume you are going to register the car in florida since that is your residence. I would look at kia EV6 but that is more of a 24 or 36 month lease. Also check if your office or home location in virginia have EV chargers.

Another option is to take over a lease. Check swap a lease or private transfers.

Would look into a Sixt+ subscription or work out a deal with a turo owner.

office in virginia/rental home in virginia its hard to find good fast chargers there, there are 2 tesla supercharger locations nearby though. so was considering looking for a model 3 or y with a year left.

How about Volvo Subscription? It is a 24 mo lease that you can cancel after 12 months

Here’s the link,

How about some of these absolutely sick 12 month/15K per year Porsche leases posted by @IAC_Scott ?

the care program seems to be quietly being phased out. all my local volvo dealers now stopped showing it on their site (I have 2 volvos at home now).

Care by volvo is replaced by volvo subscription

@brianmiami , this is the 2024 MY GLC 13 month lease deal I’m talking about. I agree the DAS is kind of a buzzkill, but it is a shorter lease duration that may suit your needs without concerning yourself with BEV charging.

my 2021 hyundai venue limited is only 230 a month to lease with one year left and 19k miles left to use. I’m tired of how slow it is :).

Too bad Hyundai won’t let you swap it.

Just looked that up, my motorcycle almost has the same HP as that lol

My Genesis GV60 lease was 13 months.

Not sure if their 13 mo program is still any good.

If using the car only a couple days a week even tickle charging would be enough.

Yeah. Its actually very responsive but when you want to go fast it is not fast :).
