'09 Subaru Forester Advice, Repairs etc

Saw a listing for a 2009 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium on Craigslist. 108K miles. I know Subarus have reputations with the headgaskets. Just wondering if anyone could give me insight on what repairs should have been done, which repairs are in my future, things to look out for. Not much was in the listing, so any insight would be appreciated! I reached out to the seller but no response yet.

You’d probably have much better luck asking on Subaru forums.

Agree Subie forums are best.

And like any used car get it checked by mechanic. Subaru dealer or independent can look it over and let you know what it needs and how needy it’s likely to be.

Always check the CarFax or one of those services too.
