Trying for sub-$400 2017 Volvo S90

Yeah, or it’s some kind of regional thing. This was from the sales manager. I’ll try to find out more from him. But he seemed pretty confident that it should be there on this deal. Hopefully this sales manager doesn’t go missing too for this LOL

"sphereman

For me I would choose a 2017 as these are made in Sweden. 2018’s are made in China."

I heard that you will be hungry a hour after driving the 2018s

See @Jon’s post. For calculations - each MSD reduces MF by 0.00005

I’ve been so incredibly focused on getting a 2018 that I ignored the 2017 Inscription until I came across one today. Are these the available incentives on the 2017 T6 Inscription:

$4500 HSE, $5500 Lease Cash, 500 Holiday Cash? APLAN $4k?

Incentives should be same on 2017, except lease cash is 5500. Has the 500 holiday cash been confirmed yet?

I spoke to several dealers today and all but one confirmed it via email. Also the A-Plan is now 4K according to 2 dealers today.

If 10% off MSRP was a sign of a good savings on 2018 Inscriptions whats a good stretch target (that’s achievable) on 2017s at this point? 10-14% off?

Just saw the $500 posted on a local Volvo dealers website. 10% on 2018, 12-14% on 2017. I’m searching for a sub 300 s90

You’ll be in the HoF with that deal. I assume you’re going for the T5?

Besides the longer wheelbase, panoramic moon roof & android auto is there any other major differences between 2017 vs 2018?

No, he won’t. He always wants impossible at any given time deal :slightly_smiling_face:

True on all accounts.

59k 2017 T6 MOM, 14% off, 7 MSDs in the low lease tax state of NC (3%), gets me to $286/mth on a 24/12 lease at buy rate and standard acquisition fee. There are slightly more than a handful of vehicles that meet that criteria within 100 miles of me. Getting to 14% is the challenge.

Hey guys. A late Christmas present for you all. @cheapdad00 actually found this deal, but I briefly negotiated on it when it seemed like my new sales manager wasn’t going to honor my deal.

Anyway, the deal is on a 2017 FWD Inscription. The car is in Georgia. The dealer said they would honor this price for others, so if you’re interested contact me or @cheapdad00.
MSRP: 54955
Selling price: 47537

We didn’t talk fees, but here is what I calculated with some reasonable fees, including A-Plan: leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Volvo&msrp=54955&sales_price=47537&months=36&mf=.00038&dp=0&doc_fee=80&acq_fee=695&taxed_inc=12750&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=47&reg_fee=400&sales_tax=9&memo=&monthlyTax_radio=true&miles=12000&msd=0

Volvo of Winston Salem has the $500 posted on their website.

What are the main differences between the 2017 and 2018?

Panoramic sun roof, extra length, and standard support for Android auto, though 2017 inscription has Android auto standard on 2017. Not sure if there are any inscription specific changes as I’m primarily looking at momentums.

MF on the 2018 T6 MOM is 0.0008 whereas it is .00038/0.00022 on 2017/2018 Inscription. 2017 T6 MOM MF is 0.00036. There is some extra residual support on the 2018, but depending upon level of discounting and number of packages on the Inscription, there is a sweet spot if you can find one closer to 60k than 65k.

Mission success!

Congrats. Enjoy the ride. Was that with your original dealer or someone else?

Congrats! I know you put a lot of effort into ensuring this deal happened. I hope to be posting a deal myself in the next few days.

Btw, what color combo is your car?

Thanks! This was the dealer with the sales manager that left. It took a while for us to hash out all the details.

My original dealer only had one 2017, the one without Android Auto.

Good luck with your deal!

My car is osmium gray/blonde interior. I like that combo but would have taken black/amber if I had a choice. I think the amber interior looks really slick.
