I will be looking for leases for a friend and all he wants is remote start preferably with an app feature. He said he would get a base versa if it had a remote start with app. 
Any good suggestions?
Oh man that’s a tough one. I’d say subaru, but I think it’s a separate FOB, not app based.
That rules out 90% of European cars then, most domestic brands like Ford or Dodge have at least the remote start via key fob though.
is he a bank robber in need of a quick getaway?

i pay $14/month for keyfob through my phone. totally worth it, black vehicle, hot days. free for physical remote.
I would suggest him getting any car that he wants and add remote start as an accessory. He can get it with an app and it will probably be cheaper to install it then factory installed.
