2018 Mercedes GLE 350 - Loaner - MF, Residual, Credits pls

MSRP- $62,285
Price after incentives; $54,785

Sorry, didn’t see that in your first post. Did you confirm buy rate MF?

@Visanic, is night package included in this?

@jamiemose - I’m still waiting for MF. I’m a newbie- what do you mean by “buy-rate?”

@ al3b3d3v - No, it doesn’t appear to be.

It’s the MF set by the bank for your credit tier. Some dealerships mark it up for pure profit, so you want to make sure they aren’t doing that.

Hey guys- negotiating with a dealer on a loaner w/ 7700 miles on it.

MSRP - $59,040
Asking - $50,400

MB has some good incentives this month (first 2 month’s payments covered up to $750 and some dealer cash).

Here’s their offer (I think they’re still off about $100/mnth - based on leasehacker calculator; MF .00018, Residual 52%), but I need some expert opinions.

“Yes, that would be with $708 on the first day and then two months no payment. These payments are including tax, registration, and fees. You would drive away with that payment without anything else being added. The acquisition fee (included in payment) is $1500.”

2019 GLE 400 AWD; Good Deal???

Email from dealer;

The residual on 10k miles is 53%. The money factor buy rate is correct at .00054.

I apologize on remaining payments. Out of habit, the first payment is included in up fronts and 35 remain. So, I will take the first payment out of the up fronts and then they will make the second payment as well and you will have 34 remaining.

Deal:

36mths
10k miles per year
Price 56285
Residual 53%
Rate .00054
Up fronts 1599.97
Payment 715.54 includes tax
LEV 33011.05

To get 54% residual you can only get 7500 miles per year.

That’s a terrible deal. This is an outgoing model. Plus a loaner?? You should be in the high-500’s with just MSD down.

@anon92897398 - I totally agree- take a look @ the GLE 400 AWD deal (and I still think I may have room there too).

I can’t make sense of this thread. How many vehicles are in it? What’s the current offer?

It’s very confusing. One’s an '18, one’s a '19 . . . I’m kinda lost.

I agree, but I believe that a moderator combined the 2 when I tried to create a new topic.

Anyway- scrap the 2018 loaner deal.

Need opinions on the 2019 GLE 400 deal.

If the payment is in the 7’s, and the GLE has no AMG badges on it, it’s a bad deal.

Edit: ok, that’s hyperbole. But it’s still a terrible deal. High 5’s/low 6’s max should be your goal with MSD only down.
