Hey CarandWatch…thanks for your comments. I’ve been thinking about a lease return, 3 years oldish, as a nice one can be had for $50K. But, a whopping discount like you’re describing justifies going with a new one. Would love to get it down to a grand…that’s what I paid back in the day for my 99 SL!

Good work! Taking out the negative equity, that is an aggressive deal on that car. I’ve been sniffing around those myself, but all the deals I have seen are $$$$.
