Hey Hackrs,
First venture into leasing a BMW, Looking for suggestions/ratings. Details are below plus a screenshot of the deal being presented.
Year, Make, Model, and Trim: [2018 BMW 320i xdrive]
MSRP: [$43,035]
Rebates: [$1000 College Grad, $2,000 Lease Credit]
Trade-in: [$0]
Months: [36]
Annual Mileage: [10,000]
Security Deposit: [$0]
Total Due At Signing: [$1,800] - represents fees besides taxes; Taxes rolled into monthly payments
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): [$325]
Zip Code: [11220]
Sales Tax Rate: [9%]
Negotiate the MSRP.
Rebates are wrong. $1k for college grad, $3k for lease credit on 3 series.
It’ll be easier to see if it’s a good deal or not if you get the dealer to give you the MF / Residual used for your lease calculations. They’re already pocketing $1k from the lease credit from that worksheet.
It’ll be a pretty good deal if you get the full $3k lease credit
but get the MF/residual and make sure they are base and not marked up
Seems like an ok deal as is right now. it’s below the 1% rule at .87
Not sure if you’re set on an 18’ but I noticed a lot of 17’s at some pretty crazy deals.
And honestly look around at some other brands at that price point. A 320i is not worth the price imo. At that point really paying for the badge.

I think $3k lease credit is only on '17’s not '18’s.
March numbers for SoCal reflects $3k on both. BMWDave has linked the newest numbers here: BMW New Car Programs (and Retired Loaners with < 5k miles) - UPDATED 03/02/18
