Notable BMW program updates for January 2025 below:

  • No More 39-Month Program - as anticipated, there is no more 39-month program this month. All leases are back to 36-months.

  • Multiple Security Deposits (MSDs) - BMW FS continues to offer MSDs for 2025, with a slight tweak. Each MSD is still a 6-point rate reduction and customers can put up to a maximum of 7x of them (total of 42 points). However, the contracted rate cannot go below 0.00005 (as opposed to zero before). So on the iX, for example, the maximum MSDs allowed are now 3x (as opposed to 4x before), since that gets you from 0.00026 to 0.00008.

  • EV Conquest - $1,000 lease credit available for all 2024/2025 BMW i5, i7, and iX vehicles. Cannot be combined with Loyalty or Corporate. The qualifying Conquest vehicle must be registered in the same household where the new BMW will be registered. The following Conquest models qualify:
    -Audi (all e-Tron variants + Q5/A7 PHEV)
    -Ford (Mach-E)
    -Hyundai (Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kona EV)
    -Kia (EV6, EV9, Niro EV, Soul EV)

  • (:double_exclamation_mark:) No More Lockable Programs (:double_exclamation_mark:) - perhaps the most important and upsetting update to BMW programs in recent history. For the first time, the BMW programs this month are NOT LOCKABLE. This applies to both in-transit units and custom orders. To get this month’s program, the car must be signed for and delivered by 6/2/2025, otherwise it is subject to change once new programs come out 6/3/2025. Does not apply to credit locks before May 1, 2025.

  • 39-Month Term Continues! - This is NOT lockable (must take delivery by June 2, 2025). Gets the same residual value as the 36-month. 2026 models added. Eligible on the following cars:
    -2024/2025 2-Series Gran Coupe
    -2025 3-Series (excl. M)
    -2025/2026 4-Series Gas (excl. M & i4)

Given the drastic changes from April to May and BMW taking away the ability to lock programs, we strongly advise securing a car this month if you need one since programs will likely continue to decline in response to the impacts by Tariffs.
