Used Cayman or Boxster. Don’t forget about early used Jag F-Types either.
NVM having to squeeze a 6’5" frame into one on a regular basis. May need a chiro or acupuncturist in the family.
Used Alfa 4c or even Lotus Elise.
Financed would be in monthly budget but you’ll recoup most at sale time so cost will be far less.
I never sat in either, though, so fitting in it is the question.

Criteria: quick enough (sub-4.5 to 60), capable of being pushed in canyons, comfortable enough as a daily, $1,000/mo or less per month to lease (assuming no more than $5k DAS). I do not need 4 seats.
Seems like the Z4 and M2 aren’t far apart performance-wise. Z4 offers convertible driving and much better looks. But I’m not sure if the m40i is more expensive to lease.
Also not sure if anything else that meets my criteria is worth considering. I think 718s are out because of price. Not interested in the Supra or the new Z.
<5k down and <1k month all in lease for how many miles/ years? That’d give us a marker to try to beat.

Out of everything mentioned previously in this thread, what have you driven? And what specifically did you like or dislike about each one?
$41,000 to drive a Z4 or M2 for 15k total miles seems nuts to me. But to each their own.
Don’t count out a good ol’ 330i with Dynamic Handling Package.
350z, 370z, 6th gen Camaro SS & C7 Z06 are by far some of the best drivers cars that I’ve driven. Those cars are all relatively cheap today, and obviously leasing is out of the question…
