Year old Porsche leases worse than a new one?

I’m getting way worse deals on a 2017 than a 2018

How does it make sense? I asked the Porsche manager and he said it has to do with their program. Whatever that means

If residuals, lease cash and MF are better on the 18, they very well could. I don’t track Porsche programs, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. Porsche may not want to inflate residuals on the year old car to move them, as they’ll lose more in the end at this point

Porsche has horrific money factors on their cars and even worse on the older models and they dont do any MSDs. They will give you a lease on a 2014 CPO but the rates are so bad that you are better of financing the same car. The Porsche manager told me even on their 2018 cars, especially on the boxsters, they have big issues to lease them because they have just ridicules rates. But apparently people still lease well their more expensive cars. I guess in this price category they dont care much about “deals”

I got lucky I got a 2015 Porsche Panamera with 24,000 miles this past August for $450 a month on a CPO lease.I guess it depends on your luck.

where did you find that Unicorn?

Everything I’ve seen has been pretty comparable to the OP’s experience.

This is a crazy deal, how much total due at signing?

i have a 2014 boxster. I didn’t get a good deal on my porsche. But I did get a big grin
on my face everytime I drove it

I paid about $500 upfront.

For a Porsche, that is a crazy deal, congrats!

what was the sales price of the car when you leased it? I’ve been looking for the exact same things but everything I’ve been quoted online has been $5k down and $799 a month. Essentially $2k less than leasing a brand new one.

Would you mind sharing the dealership or the details?

Thanks and congrats on that deal!
