XC90 T8 Mania Turn-in

Looking as well and best I can find in SoCal on a T8 Plus (MSRP 81***) is 745 effective monthly for a 39/12k. Considering Ultra as well and it is around 805 effective monthly with MSRP 87***. Trying to decide if this deal is reasonable or if I should hold off for the coming months. Basically best I can find is 9% off + incentives. Rates are with 10 MSDs.

That’s about the same as what I found while poking around this month, after a lot of back and forth. I don’t think the deal is necessarily unreasonable given the amount of car, but it’s certainly nothing like the bargain one-of-a-kind deal we got in 2024.

Reminder that a 39 mo lease in CA means paying a fourth year of registration you won’t get anything prorated back for 9 unused months - close to a lease payment. Also plan on a set of tires.

My 2023 XC60 with less than 22K miles I had to replace 3 tires. Years ago I avoided all 39 month leases and many times didnt have to replace any tires on the 36 months unless I caht a nail etc. Tires today are really expensive on these cars.

That is a good point, thank you. The excess wear plan, if elected, seems to cover tire replacement? My current offer is inclusive of that, it seems pretty similar to what I can find from the posted deals by lease brokers. Just not sure if it is great, or I should keep looking. Nothing like the deals from a couple years ago as others mentioned.

Excess wear plan would cover? I normally am not an extended warranty person. Never have on other leases, but considering it for this one, if I go with the XC90.

Limited options for 3 row PHEV, tight market with no federal incentives! Hoping to see what others coming from these great deals do to help guide my choice for this one.

Get a XC90 B5/B6 with 20 inch tires (or smaller but I don’t they come any less) and you’ll most likely come out ahead than a T8 with tire replacements even after factoring in gas savings.

I never do excess wear stuff. That is a nice money maker for the dealers.

Eh not really.

If you can get it under $1000 for up to $7500 of extra wear and use, that’s a pretty good option

Picked up today! Glad I went with an Ultra.

39/12 $543/mo with inceptions & MSD DAS

Only thing I’ll miss about the old one is the payment….

Very fair payment for the vehicle. We all enjoyed being lawyers there for a couple years.

Seems to be a good deal. What was the dealer discount? And what the effective monthly payment all in?

No better pick in this segment @ this price if you consider the savings in fuel vs ICE

Dark theme looks so good on white.

Congrats. I think my Volvo experience has run the course. I’ll ground the vehicle come Oct. and maybe pick up one of these GLE leases. I just don’t want another 2.0l powertrain.

Quick & fuel efficient…the T8 has a bit of lag before the power jumps in but I don’t mind that at all. It’s so quick! (in a straight line)

GLE 350 would’ve been a great alternative though. The styling is much more modern but I don’t think it’s as quick. Maybe GLE 450 is comparable?

Agreed T8 is quick for what it is. For me personally gle450 coupe would be ok with 380hp just to ditch the 4 cyl for 24 months.

GLE450 has a lag too mostly in bumper to bumper traffic. Caught me off guard when it tried to switch lanes but still much better than GLE350.

I’m about to get out of my t8 ( 3rd one in a row ) and it’s time for a change. Looking at the gle450 have yet to drive one . You have owned both ?
