XC90 T8 Mania Turn-in

Try requesting through the portal and you’ll see.

I asking for an exception for 3 months without a buyers order. I doubt it, but fingers crossed! Pleading loyalty lol (10 volvos leased / coleased over the last 7 years!).

Speaking of brand loyalty

A brand that routinely offers heavily subsidized leases + being opportunistic with manufactured equity.

They don’t care, but maybe you are a better beggar (I didn’t beg them lately though)

See my story with my XC90 lease: What are the current crazy deals?

Every else is playing checkers, Volvo is playing a teeny-tiny-microscopic game of chess :chess_pawn:

I had an XC90 R-design years ago and it was an amazing SUV for an amazing deal. Currently got myself into a GLE450 and I have to say I really like it. Drove it from NJ to Ohio and back early summer for a hockey tournament. One tank of gas for the trip from NJ to Ohio. Pretty shocked tbh. Honestly if the deals get even better on them in the coming months I may get another for someone else in the family.

I took the one month extension on my T8 that was offered without a buyers order.

Watch the inventory. 2026 MY got replaced by facelifted 27MY. You may act before end fo the year to have some sort of selection.

Good luck.

VFS had this option:

Make sure yall have your charging cable and extra key fob. Inspection guy failed to include these items in my report and report says $1300 for missing items.

Not really an option. It requires a car on order.

Offer valid only for current Volvo customers with an active, eligible 24-month lease on a Model Year 2025 (MY25) Volvo XC90 (VIN-specific; applies to eligible leases originating in October 2024 - January 2025). This offer is valid from September 1, 2026 through January 4, 2027. Discount applies toward the vehicle’s lease-end payoff amount as follows: $2,500 off for MHEV models (B5 or B6 engine) and $6,000 off for PHEV models (T8 engine).

You guys probably received this email as well, certain '25 T8 is eligible for $6,000 buyout incentive. Not saying you should do it, but this may give you some equity if you are in a state like CA with non-taxable window after buying out. Or a low sales tax state. Did a quick Carvana check on a 25 T8 Plus VIN, it’s offering $52K, not sure if you can get it higher somewhere else.

Thanks for the reminder about charging cable!

Can you please suggest How do we confirm? I meet that criteria but didn’t see any email. Also Volvo car retail website doesn’t list this anywhere except smythe Volvo

not a snowballs chance.

That was my thought but you never know how crazy Carvana can go sometimes I guess. If the offer is valid on '25 Plus trims, buyout on 10/12K should be around $53-54K if I’m not mistaken, I was quoted $52K on Carvana.

Honestly I’m not sure. Probably call VCFS and/or check with a dealership

Bummer I have a 2024 coming to maturity in November!

Equity on these? My buyout is $63k. Carvana came in at $38k

I have an '25 T8 Ultra - 12,900 miles. Buyout on Carvana is 50,800. Buyout price on VCFS is 56,975. Even with the 6K its basically break even, putting aside tax implications.
