Thanks for the help guys. I was able to shop around intelligently and get what I think was a good deal on a well optioned executive demo in Houston with 4000 miles. Texas taxes aren’t great for leasing but I still made out ok. I have a sales guy at a BMW dealer in Houston who is happy to help anyone if they are looking. I was straight forward with him and he was straightforward with me.

The taxes add ~$75/month, which hurts but is unavoidable as you said. There was a $1000 Credit that I’m sure was included in your sale price - still a 20% discount on a 35i is great. Only way I think you could have done better is with loyalty and/or college grad.
I think you did great, especially in TX.
Yes there was about $3000 in credits that they knocked off somewhere, I didn’t totally understand the deal but it was ok for me because they were the numbers I wanted. Interestingly I asked about the loyalty incentive (I have a 2001 M3) and they said it’s not possible, I think because this was an executive demo?
Loyalty definitely applies on a demo. Not sure why they said that.
Hi, I’m in TX, would like to know the contact info of the sales guy you work with, Thanks!
Sure, sending you a message.
