Located in South Florida. Question is would you go for an RHO or the 1500 ZR2? I would be more inclined to keep the RHO after the term, however they apparently lease horribly per dealers. On the Chevy website, you can apparently get a 24/12k ZR2 with an MSRP of ~$74k and selling price of $59k (Bomnin) for low $500’s. I thought I remember seeing an issue with their site and calculations, but could be wrong.
Here’s what I’m considering and would like others input on some deals they may have closed or seen, for reference.
Slightly conflicted list (this is after I took my Adderall)..
RHO (with the “everything” package)
1500 ZR2
2500 ZR2 (heard they hold great resale)
Hummer SUT (have the SUV)
Raptor (Likely balloon or buy)
CPO Cayenne GTS or Turbo
Wife tells me get the F250 Shelby Super Baja or Harley edition and be done with it. Internally, I can’t quite justify it.
P.S. If anyone has a good rep for Ram or Chevy, please pass that along.
The ZR2 numbers will be much higher. Bomnin price is always misleading. Either way go diesel if buying- too many concerns with the 6.2 and I personally wouldn’t want to deal with potential resale issues. I’d probably wait until 2027 Silverado’s come out anyways.
Raptor is always a good buy. You can generally find them new for a few grand off with some looking.
RHO order from Mark Dodge (I think Anthony Boi is still the go to guy over there) is going to be your best bet if you go that route.
If you’re set on leasing a truck I think a Tundra is still one of the best options. You can occasionally get a unicorn type deal on a GM truck but those programs are usually on more basic trims.
We share similar thoughts on the Silverado, especially with the 2027 announcement. Although I don’t believe theres been a timeframe on when they’ll start being delivered.
I’ll reach out to Anthony to see what we can come up. Anyone in here who may have recently picked up an RHO lease at Mark Dodge? Heard they were more inclined to deal up until April to gather more allocation spots on the new trucks coming in.
I got the current Z71 truck from them and it started out at 970 and eventually got down to 620 when was walking out the door.. My question to them “why didn’t you start there to begin with?” That aside, any recs for other dealers between here and Jacksonville?
Rivard is pretty solid for GMC. Also for Stellantis in FL I know Lakeland CDJR is pretty aggressive on order discounts. I haven’t found a solid Chevy dealer in FL tbh.
I think RHO is best bang for your buck compared to Raptor and ZR2 personally. Maybe a balloon could work for it, otherwise buy/finance probably the way to go.
