Would my lease be affected if maintenance service is overdue?

I leased the car a year ago, and today I just notice the maintenance is over due for a few weeks. I’ll do it ASAP. But I wonder if there will be any penalty on this overdue maintenance.

Yes. You have to sacrifice your first born as penalty

Just get it taken care of as soon as you can. If you got to the end of a 3 year lease and had never had it serviced, possibly an issue.
