Worst leases you've seen

Yeah, I can totally see a retired old lady falling in love withe a VW CC. I had one, so have a good idea about ingress/egress in it and seat comfort.

This one looks very very very bad. 7 year/84k mike lease?? $30,000 car.

Looks like an 84 month loan but there is a mileage limit?

Pay $78k to lease a $70k car for 36 months, great deal!

I love AMGs, and have owned many AMGs but never understood people who lease them.

Years ago i cross shopped. all of these cars had MSRP within $5k of each other and zero down.

Audi S4 $770 a month
BMW M3 $1050 a month
Mercedes C63 $1800 a month.

lolol i currently own an S class AMG but lease my F80 M3. BMWs lease great, AMGs, well idk who is ok spending more to lease it then it would be to buy it.

Was just quoted this the other day…dealer advertises X5s on Cars.com with mileage much lower than the cars actually have. BMW lease fans beware.

Not going to share the paperwork, but this is quite literally the worst lease I have ever seen quoted to someone who I know.

2018 Audi A5 Premium Plus
MSRP: $51,XXX
Term: 36 months
Mileage: 7500
Tax: 8% (On total of monthly payments, then capped into the lease)
Fees: $350
Rebates: $1000 (Audi Loyalty)

Monthly: $764 including tax
**DAS: $0 **

This is in Ohio…absolutely unbelievable.

Copied from the Edmunds forums - MSRP of the car is $52,905:

I’m looking to get an S3. I’m super flexible regarding mileage allotment (can go as low as 7,500) and term (up to 42 mos.). Whatever puts me in the “sweet spot.”

My local dealer offered me this deal, and it seems high to me:

Sale Price: $49,730.70

Customer Cash: $2,500

Total Rebates: $2,000

Base Monthly Payment: $653.65

Monthly Payment w/ Tax: $699.41

Was hoping to be in the $650-$675/mo (with tax; Indiana) on a Premium Plus with no more than $1k down, max. Is that not doable?

Is this a decent offer or on the high side? Thanks in advance.

*Note: Currently driving a C63 AMG, so eligible for Conquest/Acquisition cash.

The worst part is that the dealer’s next offer was even worse: $697/month, $1000 down for 10K miles for 51 months!!!

I was just offered:

2018 Lexus LC 500
MSRP 105,587
Sale price 102,587
Lease cash $4000
.00110 MF
36/12 with just drive offs
$1755 per month

I passed.

Wow a whole 2.84% discount…

Over $1k for a JAG XE! By far the worst I have ever seen

And that’s with over $10k off, the extra bonus of the deal is that they already worked all the bugs out by putting 7900 miles on it…lol

Do Audis just lease poorly? I am looking for an A5 SB Premium, I’ve been emailing back n forth with this guy from Socal and the quote he gave me was downright insulting. Like $550/mo plus $2500 DAS for a Premium @ 10k, not even Premium Plus but a normal Premium for what I conclude as a $42k car. I am leasing a 2016 Lexus RX350 that has an MSRP of 50k and 12k miles for $468/mo OTD. At first I have my heart set out on a A5 SB but now I think I might just get another Lexus since they are willing to deal more than Audi.

Yes Audi lease poorly

What everyone else has already said. Sportback leases heinously.

This is not the thread for those discussions

i leased a 2016 maxima SR, 36/12 575/month 2.5 years ago. 10 payments remaining

I don’t understand how people can get hosed so bad on a lease deal like that?

People have no reference point to know what a good deal is or not. All the ads advertise putting down a lot of money so people think that is the norm.
