It doesn’t matter. The dealer isn’t going to lose more money because you want a car during a pandemic. That doesn’t mean they’re taking advantage of you, that means they’re victim of the market conditions as well.

I agree. We all are victims but those at the bottom got hit the most unfortunately.

I’m sorry if this sounds like classism, but “the bottom” shouldn’t be buying a 2020 Volvo. And that’s not their target demographic anyway.

They are not “loosing a lot of customers”
There are far more people willing to pay their prices than cars they have available.
I, personally, from a business perspective think they screwed up with all of these incentives. People shouldn’t be cross-shopping an elantra with an XC40.
