Which SUVs are leasing well right now Super Thread

,

Yeah… topic sort of shifting over to value of PHEVs vs ICE vs Hybrid vs EV but we had a PHEV Pacifica for 4 years… gassed it up maybe less than it twice a year. And while our electric bill increased (Cali is expensive), I do think the cost was less than if we were regularly filling it up as a gas minivan,

We thought we were going to take it on more road trips, hence the PHEV, but our usage over the 4 years just showed us that we could go EV… the only problem is most “value” EVs are too small. Almost went back to the Pacifica, but the wife doesn’t like driving a minivan so ended up with the GC 4xe (even though she really wanted the Sorento PHEV). It was the best 24mo PHEV SUV we could find that wasn’t too small. I was actually targeting the Outlander PHEV but monthly was higher (and less incentives) for a lesser equipped (debatable) vehicle.

I need to lease an suv ASAP. It’s very overwhelming trying to narrow down a vehicle so I was hoping for suggestions. I’m not that picky. My previous lease which I ended up purchasing, was a 2019 Grand Cherokee L, which I am happy with. I am giving the Cherokee to my Wife to be able to drive my son to school so I’ll be left without a vehicle. I really just need to know which brands or makes/models have been leasing well these days. I don’t want to spend tons of time researching something I like only to find out it doesn’t lease well. If anyone could help I’d greatly appreciate it. I am going to do some research but a push in the right direction would be great.

Mazda and Nissan were leasing pretty well. If you have a better budget, Mercedes had some compelling values on the EQS/EQE. Volvo as well. That is where I would start.

Looks like Nissan will be your best bet.

What’s your budget and what size are you looking for and in what area?

As others have said, Nissans are running pretty good leases and since you already own a Jeep, you may want to look at the GC 4xe (or just 4x4) since they seem to have inventory available (like most CDJR products).

Looking to stay under $500 monthly. I am very interested in the GC 4xe actually
