Which car will lease better?

I am looking for a 3 row car for my 4 kids…my wife has a minivan so this would be for me. Any suggestions on which of these cars will lease the best? Or, if you have a suggestion of a car we let me know.
We live in South FL.

Dodge Durango 2018
Acura MDX
VW Atlas
GMC Yukon
Chevy Tahoe

I think those all lease pretty bad. The least worst might be the Durango or MDX.

As Jon posted above, your selection are not cars renowned for astonishingly favorable leasing deals (or fuel economy), which compels me to ask one simple question: do you have your heart and mind set on one of those specific vehicles?

Do you have a recommendation of a 3rd row car for us to look at? I do not want Highlander or pilot. Thank you!

Unfortunately I don’t as I’ve never looked at cars that can be equipped with 3rd row seating (but for Tesla, but that’s likely in a different payment category that where you prefer to say).

Search for the Lexus GX460 deals on here…
Here is a recent thread…

My kids would love that- but yes, not in price category we are looking at.

Chevy Traverse has 3 rows. And as I understand it the best lease deals right now on a Traverse are around $100/month all in.

Are you sure? I saw you listed Yukon/Tahoe MDX, VW. There are people scoring that Lexus in the low 400’s …

Qx60, 20 characters …

He was replying to the payments of a Tesla, which was suggested by steve2.

I agree with you though. The GX460 is a good choice. So is the QX60.

Sorry my reply was about the tesla.
We just went to test drive the Lexus gx 460- it’s a 55k car, would the lease be in the low 500?

Read the thread that was linked. It can be had for less than $500/month.

People have gotten good deals on the Acadia Denali too, not sure if the Pathfinder leases well or not.

After days of looking at cars we have narrowed it down to:
Lexus gx 460
volvo xc90
vw atlas

They each have different pros and cons - kind of impossible to choose since they all have different things that we want. I think we will decide on which will come with the best deal. Any suggestions on which will have the best lease? We usually have to turn in the lease early so we will also need to look for the car that will have the best re-sale value before the lease ends.
Thank you.

That’s what the residual value is. Higher RV = higher projected resale value. Not sure what else you’re looking for?

I think they are referencing possible equity in the lease before the lease term ends. If no equity, they want to minimize negative equity on an early trade.

These have both been discussed extensively in the forum. Search and ye shall find.

You can get an XC90 T5 for below 500

I get that. But that’s what residual values try to predict. You’re not really going to win either way. If the RV is too low, then you will pay more for the lease and have some equity. If the RV is too high, you will pay less for the lease but have negative equity. It’s a wash either way.

Just get a 2 year lease and then you don’t have to worry about it.
