I have to remember this when I do my new lease in 2019 , I did my lease via Toyota in 2016, a Rav 4, when I did my Highlander in 2013 gap was not included… I am def. going to question price when I do it in 2019

Easy enough to cancel. Filled out a piece of paper making the request at the dealer at end of September. F&I sends to TFS. TFS issues pro-rated refund. Refund check goes from one TFS dept to the other and credits toward my lease.
Originally paid $750 in May. Refund check was for ~$650. So about a payment and a half credit on my account.
Switched insurance companies to Progressive. Made sure the new insurance was in place before cancelling. They offer GAP. $13 every 6 months…

Check with your insurance company. They may offer this coverage.
GEICO does NOT offer GAP coverage but it appears that many other insurers do. Good luck on your lease next year!
