depends on usefulness. If you have a a car that you don’t mind driving, obviously you don’t need a new lease now. If you don’t really want to rive that car for a few months to wait for a lease, it would seem to me that you are more in need of a lease now as their is a “cost” to you of driving that old car and hence why you don’t want to.
