Rear-drive, comfy interior, plus the famous 2GZ inline-six. Current owner has had it since 2005, according to vehiclehistory.com.

These look so much better sans the wing/spoiler that was inflicted on most of them.

But I want whatever they were smoking when they called 165k ā€œLOW LOW mileageā€

Yeah that was me. We may check it out. Our deal on the Supra Mk2 fell through, the guy ghosted when we asked to take it to a mechanic.

Alhambra is actually pretty far from usā€¦ but for $2500 that may be worth it.

Max what was the details on this TL? iā€™ve been looking 24/7 for a low mileage TL/TSX for a beater, and itā€™s so hard not to find one thatā€™s been ghettoā€™d due to us being in the tri-state area lmao

Not much text beyond what you can see in the link preview. Regular oil changes, recent tires, etc. IIRC

No obvious damage in the pics

Not surprised it was snapped up immediately

Here you go. Theyā€™ve had it up for less than a week. To me, it doesnā€™t seem like it worth the $16K plus $549 doc fee. It does seem to be the lowest mileage, 6-Speed TSX around. So many of these have well over 150K miles on them and have been ā€œmodded to deathā€ as you said. Even though the TSX is a popular ā€œtunerā€ car, they donā€™t have the cache of a low mileage Prelude, Integra, RSX, or Civic Si. So far none have been sold on either BAT or C&B. While I think the price is high, Iā€™m not sure what a fair price would be. How long do they want to sit on it?

Iā€™ve seen this one, crazy pricing. Super local to me too- almost willing to offer $12k for it as Iā€™ve got a real thing for early 2000s Acuraā€™sā€¦

God what I would do to go back in time a be old enough to buy a few brand new 2010 carā€™s that I really want.

Local-ish to me too. I live in Stamford. I think $12K might be the right number. Obviously by the asking price, they are very proud of it. In this market, it is going to have to sit for a while for them to drop the price significantly.

That TSX is clean !!! My dad and brother both had a TL and TSX, ā€˜08, ā€˜09. Miss those cars. As the saying goes, they donā€™t make them like they use to.

First gen 6-speed is the way to go when it comes to TSX.

Ugh thatā€™s so clean, wish I could find them like that here, in other words, I just saved myself a 2-hour drive. 1 Owner, with tons of service records, needed it gone ASAP as her new BMW was coming in, and lived in a very rich area. The stars were aligning, exactly the kind car/owner I try to buy a car from

haggled her down to $4,700 sheā€™s crazy to even list this at $7,200, most comparables are $5,000 and below and boom, she hits me with the ā€œABS light has come onā€

greatā€¦ back to square one for beater hunting, can someone just sell me a TSX/TL already

Couldnā€™t be a simple fix or not but yeah run from that :joy:

I found a local NA miata (1990) with 82k miles that looks very clean for only 8k. Water pump and timing belt both replaced. This is a no brainer to grab right? Cheapest 1990 miata on autotrader is $14k with 66k miles. Would likely get it to enjoy for a couple months then sell it

Give this one a shot.

With Miatas, dont go by autotrader. Go look at CL and FB marketplace.

$8k is a little pricy IMO for first year NA Miata unless that car was mint.

Also, manual is worth more than automatic.

Thank you. I found it on CL, and donā€™t have FB. Iā€™ll check around on CL more. Also it is manual. Thank you!
