My wife’s Grand Cherokee 4xe lease is up in two weeks, but we will be on vacation so I really only have one week to make some decisions here. Payment is about $560 in FL
She said she wanted a BMW X1 or X3 which I knew would be a relatively easy find so we didn’t start looking until this month. She didn’t like the X1 as it seemed too cheap and it was a little small. The X3 has sunroof that doesn’t open and apparently that is non-negotiable item for her. The salesman was kind to point out the $85k x5 has an opening sunroof. Thanks pal.
Went to MB and it is almost the same thing. I guess I would need a GLE with pano roof.
She is not interested in the Mazda or a GV70.
Can anyone think of anything else I should look at.
I do have the option to extend the lease on the Jeep. There are 2500 GLE’s within 500 miles and the updated model comes out next year. Maybe there will be a file sale in the next few months.

The correct answer for the exam is X1 2.8 with all the extras but it’s heavier on cost than value and doesn’t usually lease well.

You said no Mazda but the CX-50/70 upper trims should at least be test driven. Take her to Carmax to drive as much as possible
If she is driving a GC the bar is set very low which is good for you. I would recommend QX60 as well.
We looked at the GLC and it was either too small or the sunroof issue.
I thought the size difference on the X1 was not that big of deal, but what do I know. I think it is only like 1 inch difference. But the wife wants the extra inch.

I meant the sunroof would not open, like the GLB… I think it does with GLC but I also think she thought it was too small.
VW Tiguan?
