What to do with 14k of negative equity

,

$54K RX with $980 payments due to the rolled in equity? That’s insane.

This has got to be a troll.

Work harder and call other dealers. Can’t just give up with one dealer.

Here’s a Bolt with 10% discount and $14k rolled into the price, probably save some more if you can find a cheaper one. Works out to $475/mo with the $5000 post sale rebate figured in. Need Costco of course

Hopefully better than your username decisions.

Putting money in savings is a waste. Invest in stocks of reputable company(ies) with apps like Robinhood and similar.

Here’s your solution till the end of your Lexus ES lease:

OP does not have much in disposable income. At the end of the day, they have enough info to make a decision.

You should read this about Robinhood. I would not trust them with my money.

Negative Equity Man strikes again

Thank you for the article. It seems like only certain accounts were compromised. But some say they even had 2FA enabled. Strange. There are more reliable apps linked to well-known banks that can be used for investments. The key is to not just put money away, but put them where they would multiply.

Or if you’re old like me, just use an old fashion web browser and use Vanguard or a similar low cost broker. I setup my Vanguard account to use a Yubikey hardware security token for 2FA–much safer than a phone number. My gmail is also locked to the Yubikey.
