Hello, is the 1% rule for the 10 kmi leases? What is the number to shoot for the 15 kmi lease?

For 15kmiles the percentage can be derived by taking this formula:
Number of sunny days in the month * age of salesperson divided by horsepower of engine to the power of the money factor integral of the lease cash

Just kidding the 1% is a rough rule of thumb. Add 20 bucks extra per month for the extra miles is another rule of thumb.

The real way it works is deduct 1% from the residual for 12k miles and 3% from the residual for 15k miles (assuming 10k miles per year as base). So it all depends on the msrp of the car, I have never heard of $20 a month and it doesn’t work anyway.
