New to this, so excuse my ignorance, but do any full size/large SUVs lease well? maybe something that’s hybrid with the $7500 incentive? It’s wild to me that such great deals exist on an $80k pickup but not an SUV. Thanks in advance!
Have you checked the Marketplace in your geographic area (which you haven’t tagged) and Signed deals to see what’s been leasing well?
We’ve seen some decent deals on Infiniti QX80 in that segment. The US manufactured Body on Frame SUV’s have never really made for a compelling lease hence why you almost never see ( Yukon XL, Suburban, Expedition ) type vehicles on LH.
The lease program on those vehicles just makes it where it’s a far better finance from the beginning or purchase a CPO one that has already depreciated a good bit.
The Lincoln Navigator had the chance to be a decent lease when they were phasing out the previous generation and were propping up the resids. There were a few thousand Navigators that had to be blown out, and Ford did a great job managing that.
While not an EV Junktastic-Bargain-Bin lease, those leases were still pretty good to get a large BoF SUV.
Going forward, those EV glory days are to fade away. The benefit of taking a cash-basis margin loss to bank a carbon credit against the EPA portfolio is gone. LH and the EV bargain hunters benefited from the automakers jumping into this carbon-credit/offset pool, only for those credits to immediately become worthless.
If someone wants to feel good leasing a large ICE SUV, they can just wait a few months for the EV mega bargains to disappear. From there, the ICE leases will seem pretty good since there won’t be artificially cheapened EVs to compare against.
Depends on you considering large. The Vistiq is a 3 row larger suv and it seems to be leasing pretty well.
The kia EV9 certainly has some great lease deals.
Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any good deals on the Vistiq in my area!
I will do that! Thank you!
They have to be PHEV for the incentive, not just hybrid. Most brands’ gas and hybrid SUVs are atrocious leases
List of decent leases is pretty short
Mazda CX90 if that’s large enough
Otherwise you’ll need EV9 / Ioniq 9
As @ApexHunt said, QX80 still fits the bill depending on your budget. Anything that size won’t be any cheaper
You didn’t see the MB Sprinter Van that @MBmike had.
I love the Sprinters. I’ll daily one no problem. Then I can say I have a Merc diesel
And yet #stillnomercv8
Is this the same request as your other post? Because aside from the CX90 no other gas/hybrid SUV can remotely be called a good lease deal.
Trying to help my parents out. They are currently a one car household in a super crappy Grand Cherokee 4xe lease and are going to go way over on miles if they don’t get another vehicle. Must be available to get in MN.
What’s the best deal you’ve seen on an AWD SUV for 24 months, zero down?
Buy one of the M113 variants while they’re still undervalued. Best V8 AMG ever made.
Not related! They are in search of something too! They prefer gas, not hybrid or EV!
Is there any particular reason for a gas vehicle that’s not a hybrid?
the g580 leases very well, try contacting your local dealer ![]()
Not really. A hybrid would be OK for them.
Seems like we’re missing one of the primary constraints here. What are they looking to spend? $2k per month could be an incredible lease on Vehicle X, but that is quite irrelevant if they have a budget of $400/mo.
