Are Wear & Tear packages worth it ? I am trying to lease a BMW and wondering if I should get this. My wife drives the car and she has been known to make a few dents here and there…

GM excess wear and tear allows you to bring in bald tires at end of the lease. For the 36 month lease the wear and tear costs about 900$. Between new tires and the occasional ding/dent/scratch i think its worth it.

BMW wheel and tires protection plan

320i, 3 years, $1,095. Is this protection plan worth to have? Located in MA, road condition is pretty rough. Personally I only had one flat tires in the past. However, the dealer kept saying how vulnerable run flat tires are. I’m totally lost.

Do a rough calc of all the dents over the last 3 years, and how much it would take at a local PDR place paying cash. I somehow doubt she has caused enough damage to require $1k+ of PDR. What else does this policy cover?
