Washington State - Early Lease Buyout, Tax Official Does Not Believe Sales Tax was Included on Capital Cost Reduction

,

Ah I probably should not have posted that part in parenthesis about the $4500 in the first paragraph. I can see why it would be confusing. I only added that to justify why I had to lease the vehicle instead of purchasing it outright. If only the $4500 applied to direct purchases I wouldn’t have this issue!

Okay, got it!

Since you ran all the calculations, did you happen to generate a lease amortization schedule? According to the agent, I now need to file for an administrative review. Just trying to get as much evidence as possible.

No, I did not run a lease amort schedule as there is no need for it. The calculations should suffice. However, if you need it, I can provide it.

If you wouldn’t mind doing it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I need the effective date of your lease agreement.

That would be Nov 10, 2024. Thank you!
