Hello fellow hackrs.

My current lease is expiring on beginning of April and just 100 miles shy from reaching the allowed millage (will probably be 800 ~ 1000 miles over mileage by April).

Have my eyes on the loaner X4M (can’t afford the new ones), prices posted by the some of the brokers are really tempting.

Should I pull the trigger?

I realized nobody has the crystal ball but just get some opinions from the experts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There isn’t a crystal ball, but if history is an indicator of anything the BMW outgoing model year loaner deals lose lease support ~April, so it can be possible to find some aggressive deals this month, as well as March.

Do it. Sometimes BMW will cover your miles and disposition fee.

Thank you so much for your input! My concern is that there might not be any vehicles left as the clock is ticking. Did a search on CarGurus, couldn’t find any x4m in 500 radius.

Would they do that with brokers’ deals? I thought the deals posted by brokers are as is.

Just ask the brokers. I know a few who can ask a dealer for you to do a pull ahead.

I am assuming you are looking at a 2019 model?

They don’t. BMW does not have a pull ahead program or mileage forgiveness. Anything of that nature comes directly out of the dealer’s pocket. Disposition fee is always waved if you lease or finance another BMW through FS.

Both 2019 and 2020 but rarely see any brokers post 2020 loaner deal.

I don’t think there are any 2019 X4M. Isn’t 2020 the first model year for the X4M?

That’s what I thought too.

X4 M40i? Sorry if there is any confusions.

What car do you drive now?

That means they won’t cover your disposition fee and you don’t have loyalty. Calculate your mileage overage fee and decide yourself. Most likely you can find similar deals as of now but there is always a risk of course.

Thanks a lot for everyone’s input. Hopefully I will find something soon.

A dealer pull ahead just means that they’re rolling you payments or equity into the new lease. There’s no free lunch on a pull ahead unless it’s by BMW USA.
