Edmunds suggests MF 0.00053 normal and 0.00001 onpay but getting hard to get closer to that.

Is this a quote you got? It seems pretty competitive but your fees look off - even if you’re outside of Seattle Tacoma metro, there is a $250 EV surcharge on top of the base $200 in registration fees. If you live in Seattle metro add another 400-500 for RTA tax. Your dealer doc fee should be $150, not $100.

Your total initial registration fees should be 450-900.

Not sure about the MF but looks like they’re marking it up.

You’d be better off exchanging less dealer discount for the base money factor. A selling price of 40k flat with the base money factor would be around 7800 based on all the numbers in your calculator. Hold firm on the base money factor. Obviously the 11% off would be nice too, but you can sacrifice a few bucks there and come out ahead if they won’t give you both.

You are right. Fees/Taxes should come to about $1000 including acquisition, dealer + govt. + sales.
Couldn’t get split for fees so made that up getting closer to drive-off amount quoted. Adjusted link …

Thank you for your comments and guidance. Seems there is bit more wiggle room. Most are giving 10+% off MSRP around this area in addition to $11,250 incentives. Just MF seems bloated across the board.
Base MF 0.00053 total: $7,825
Base MF with one pay 0.00001 total: $6,942

I would just insist on the base money factor and ask for quotes and discount amounts using that exclusively. This isn’t a BMW situation where MF markup can be offset by very high dealer discounts in order to move a car. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a good Chevy/Buick/GMC deal posted here that involved MF markup. If you want to make it easy just offer somewhere between 8.5% and 10% off MSRP with the base money factor and all qualified incentives.

Alright; going to give that a try and see how it goes!

Yep, definitely push for the .00001 MF. I got it on my Bolt deal back in September, as have many others on here. Good luck!

And it worked a bit when I sent link to leasehackr with base MF. Drive-Off $7,500. Looked at our past lease and @ElectricEliminator is right on fees to be $595 acquisition, $150 dealer, $573 government fees and $0 sales tax. Biting the bullet …
